I think that after hyping my self for one year of watching PS3 trailers i'd be a fool not get a PS3 even though it's kind of a rip off. Dont you think?
1.I really am not sure if you should buy PS3 now.Until the European march launch(i think it's march..damn Sony >.<) besides Resistance there really aren't any good games. If you are certain that you will have money to buy PS3 in the near future,i suggest getting the 360 package. Another factor are your preferences. If you prefer 360 library of games(60% are probably FPS) against PS3's(it's a mixed bag) you should get 360 and vice-versa. 2.US Motorstorm will have more options, probably more tracks, maybe improved graphics(like there's something to improve)...in all,it should be 10x the game it was.
The thing is, there are no PS3 games right now that i actually WANT to get and the upcoming ps3 games are also coming out on the 360 while all the great games on the ps3 will be out in like a year (mgs4,stranglehold,lair). And there are allready games that i really like on the 360 like lost planet. So yea it's a pretty hard choice but i guess in the end it's about which console is better in terms of graphics. edit: i just found out that i can get the core system with 2 games which are gotham racing and ninety nine nights for only $299, i know that ninety nine nights is not that great but i seriously dont care about the harddrive and this way i can get an extra wireless controller and maybe 6+ other games including gears of war/rainbow six vegas. I allways wanted the PS3 but i really dont care anymore because all i really want to do is to play a next gen console and have fun and apparently the xbox 360 is more than a great choice since i dont fancy any ps3 games at the moment. Maybe when all those great ps3 games like mgs4 come out i will buy it.
Well, beside Virtua Fighter which if you ask me was one of the hitting needles of PS2 era all other so called exclusives really don't touch me(not like there are too much exclusives going from PS3 to Xbox 360 and vice-versa). Which sucks. Maybe Sony should have delayed the launch for another year...or maybe not. Well, from what i've saw from Lost Planet and judging by some reviews of the game,it looks mediocre. But hey! What do i know? Well...core version looks like 'tard version compared to the 400$ version. Ditto if you should get it,since both Gotham Racing and Ninety Nine Nights are...uhhh...mediocre/below mediocre games. Neither. Both PS3 and Xbox 360 are almost the same in terms of powers, the only difference being that both console excel at different parts. Besides, having flashy graphics and ----ty gameplay does not game make.
Well those two games might be awful but atleast it's cheaper since i dont really care about the harddrive and am allready getting another wireless controller. And yea i just realised that it's dumb to waste so much time comparing a ps3 version of a certain game to a 360 version only to find out that they are both the same. So here is the list of the games that am going to get: *Gears Of War *Rainbow Six Vegas *Saints Row *Smackdown VS raw 2007 I want to add two more games but i dont know which so feel free to give me a suggestion. And can someone tell me what would happen if i use an NTSC-J xbox 360 console on my PAL only tv? other than having no colours ofcourse. Will i still be able to play the games? And is there a wire to buy to get the games to appear with colours? or will it not work at all in the first place?
i dont know about the telly stuff but i suggest fight night round 3 because its got a solid gameplay and to get call of duty 3
Dead Rising(if you like mindless killing of zombies) and maybe Chromehound(mech battle...that sort of thing). I am not sure if you will be able to play the games since i am not sure if Xbox 360 is region free(like PS3),but i had the colour problem with ps2. I bought a NTSC-Pal converter(or something). Ditto if it's the same for Xbox 360.
if your spending that much on the 360 just get a PS3 60GB and then Resistance, COD3, extra controller that will run you around $770 + tax which would be around $60 or so but you get a better product and
