I'm buying a digital camera tomorrow ad was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I have near 200 bucks. I wanted to change from using film, although, I like developing them. I was looking at the Cannon A530, seemed ok. My photo teacher said it was good. Seem some of the pictures it can take, but are their any better ones?
Whatever you do, stay away from Nikon (horrible digicams, had 5 ---- out on me) and SanDisk memory cards (had 2 ---- out).
I have an Olympus 6.0 MP it takes real good pictures, clear from about 100 feet away. I'd recommend an Olympus for sure, it ran about 250$ a year ago so I am sure you could probably get better for about 200
check out the Cannon SD400.. i think you can get that for under 200$ these days.. we have a Cannon SD450 and a Cannon SD600 .. Their both very good cameras for 5 and 6 MP..
