The Iraqi goverement is Shi'a goverement is majoirty Shi'a. You probally got them messed up. Iran and Iraq and majoirty Shi'a while the majoirty of the Islamic world is Sunni. Mostly Saudi Arabia and Indoensia which holds the 2 highest pop of muslims in the country but there are others as well. But the reason that Iran and Iraq are majoirty Shi'a is not because of the UIA but rather because of the historically migrations of the Shi'a followers in early and middle islamic times. And yes I am a Shi'a.
Ah I see. Thanks for clearing that up. While I know that the two classes of Muslim are divided among who they allowed to be the head cleric following Muhammad' s descending or death (I forget which it was), I was aware that one of them was majority and that one of them was considered the majority side for extremists. I hope this does not make me appear as an Islamaphobe, as I disregard all forms of hatred. I guess, in a way, I have a sense of insecurity seeing that all I ever see is images of the angry Muslim.

It's not. Iraq itself is the place most affected by the problem. It's Iraq's dictators, the flow of whom is not going to stop, that are the problem. Removing Saddam Hussein was a great thing for the Americans to do. Now, all they can do from here, is prevent that kind of thing from re-occurring. And I think that they can, ass this time they are prepared, they already have men in there ready for anything. However, we can't predict anything. We don't know what is going to happen, but this fellow looks dangerous.
And the iraq civilians who are supporting the dictators till they find out he has all power in his hands. They should realise how many power he allready has in Iraq in such short time, It's a simple matter of time he got so much power there ain't no turning back anymore and, as other members said, history will repeat and there will be a second dictator. I doubt he will be any better as Saddam.
Being a dictator is bad? Why not go after Fidel Castro? The American government has killed more people than what Saddam has done. When will Clinton be hanged for killing innocent Afghani's just to take a break from the monica case? When will Bush be hanged for killing thousands of innocent people? When will the leaders of Israel be hanged for destroying the lifes of the Palestinians? It can't go up, it will only get worse.
you're taking this the wrong way dagobert. It's not about going to war with dictators. The war with saddam is because we were told he has nuclear bombs and wants to use them to destroy america and he was involved with the 9/11 attacks. The issue here is iraq and its present state so why bring up isreal and palestine? Besides all these countries have known is war. So bringing peace to them is not something that will happen in a few weeks. It will take time a patience.
Get your facts right please. Bush has adimted that Saddam did not have nuclear weapons, and they never found any in Iraq. Bush came into Iraq on false info. He WAS NEVER connected to 9/11 Osama had no connection to Saddam. Israel has everything to do with this because it shows that America has double stanards. Israel posses nuclear weapons but america doesnt go after them. Israel kills hundreds of innocent civilans but America doesnt go after them.
