I was just wondering, for those who own pc's with hardware like a 7800 gtx card and a 3800 amd athlon and maybe 2 gb of ram. Can they play games that replace the PS3? Or are PC games with the PS3's power are yet to come out? The reason am asking this is because i just found out that it's much cheaper to get the above mentioned hardware than to buy a PS3, so if i just buy those parts will i be able to experience games like the ones on the PS3?
Yes and No.....You can build a PC that easily surpasses ps3's power and graphics...but that is pretty pricey. And you cant always have ethe same experience because PC doesnt have metal gear solid,Lair,Motorstorm,ff13, and pc doesnt have motion sensing games Vice versa with ps3/ But remember in order for your ps3 to look comparable to PC you have to have an hdtv and thats about 1000$ so remember that dhar
Like said above, you could build a PC with the PS3's power, but it would be expensive, and to build a PC that would give you the same kind of graphics as the PS3, that would be even more expensive. This is because the games for the PS3 are highly optimized for its hardware, whereas PC games aren't. Which means you'd have to have some serious hardware to get the same kind of grapics
I assume the same thing goes with the Xbox 360? Because i just realised it's useless for me to try and get a real PS3 bundle.
