Printscreen Problems

I have a question, why i cant i take a print screen of a avi video? I am playing it in VLC media player and in windows media player and no luck. I take it and the place where the player is, its black.

make sure the player window is on top, hold shift then press print screen.

 

no good. i am pressing shift then print screen, and holding ---- and pressing print screen but as soon as i close the player window the screen on the print screen copy goes blank.

 

then try pausing the movie where you want to take the screenshot. that should work then.

 

i been doing that.

But never mind, i just found out VLC media player has its own printscreen taker.

You need to make the screen 99% instead of 100%.
Then make a screenshot.

 

Its cos some media players wont let you take screenshots, dunno why though.
