the price is very small compared to the other consoles. but i myself, among many other users im sure, purchased the wii.. cuz they were curious & wanted to experience the new way. at first i was going to get a ps3 due to its tilt controller, until i saw wii full body movement swings which took me right in.
Holy crap Gamecube made the most? I thought PS2 dominated. But ya, the Wii's price is 25% of the reason I'm buying it. Another 25% going to the Wiimote. That thing is like.. weirdly intresting. The remaining 50% goes to the awesome games being released for the Wii, the biggest being Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
but the wii wont have alot of the games ps3 and xbox 360 have not to mention the wii remote doesn't work the best on other games. on zelda it works great but on other games it might not work to well.
I really don't know what you guys are talking about but I got it on launch and its my favorite system, the whole new aspect with the controller makes it fun and relatively easy to play, I don't know where you got those pics from but the graphics are just as good as any other system. Zelda is amazing, Rampage is amazing, pretty much every game on the system (besides super monkey ball ) is great. I believe this will outsell PS3, hasn't it already. @ Unreal_Me Finally someone besides me calls it a Wiimote
i don't really know why people complain about the graphics so much. sure, it doesn't compare to the xbox/ps3/computer, but the graphics are decent. some of the games look really ----ed up, but the others actualy look pretty decent. i don't know how people could say "----, i can't play this, look at the graphics!".. well, its rather understandable why they would say that, but its pretty stupid. I was considering getting a xbox 360, but decided to upgrade my computer instead...
but bearing in mind the ps3 isnt offically released in europe yet its hard to compare sale prices when you cant take the same market into account. I personnally own a 360 and i love it, i love every game i have for it and wouldnt change my mind about getting a different console over it. I hav played the Wii and agree it was fun at first but found it got abit boring swinging around and personally its not really my thing. Its jus all down to opinion. well no duhh they suck, nintendo themselves said they weren't following the microsoft/sony path to improve graphics, thats not what they think is next gen. they think the gameplay is the next generation, getting into the game is next gen. i really don't care that much for graphics as long as i have lots of fun
cordas you are pretty stupid, i have the Wii and the graphics are WAY better then Ps1 you noob. Nintendo 64 and Ps1 were close to the same graphics. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about, and you are only saying this because that is what you heard other people say. Wii Graphics that is redsteel that is Call of Duty 3 I would NEVER say PS1 has graphics even close to thouse. I'm not saying PS3 or X-Box 360 suck. I think X-Box 360 is awsome, my brother has one, i think PS3 is awsome exept its way over priced and games are/will be ranged from $69.99 to $99.99. If i could get my hands on a PS3 and it was MUCH cheaper i would get it, but instead i would rather get a Nintendo Wii, and 5 Games and maby have money left over, rather then just PS3 with no games or anything else. I think he exaggerated slightly. He was just disappointed as the grahics wern't up to the new HD standard of the PS3 and x-box 360. Which they are not. But its still one mighty fine system
Ditto the above, only is it only me that doesnt care about the HD thing in 360 and PS3? I mean I'm struggling to find money to upgrade from a 9" old cathode TV, let alone go HD, and wont be for many more years, by which time PS4, Xbox Futurezilla and the Ninty Twoii or wtvr will be out...
