Xbox Live Question...

    Can I play online with a 128kbps connection? It's cable, but it's the slowest setting. Will I have a lot of lag? I need to know this before I waste money on a wireless router and Gold membership.

    eh I play with DSL. It's all about who hosts the room with me. I hardly get lag at all though.

    They downgraded my high speed internet. But I barley get any lag. Not sure how many kbps though.

    edit - depends what game really but im 90% sure it will lag a lot

    It will lag for you if you get host, which means 8 xbox's are runnign to ur ip :")

    yeah, if you get host expect a lot of lag but if someone else is host, you will be fine

    Wow, I just played someone and it was so annoying, they were lagging like crazy.

    all ethernet cables are the same, i have a 10m one and my brother has a 15m one, both leading to our rooms and have no problems =)

    PS- some games, ie saints row, halo etc - the host is chosen at random, and usually the host gets no lag but other people cant even move so allowing you free kills&win basically :) this is very annoying on the receiving end of the lag
