Yes dumbass's spoil their kids rotten, then they themselves are broke.

If you can afford, you should buy 1 nice gift, but dont go crZy buying 12 things. All you do is create spoiled brats.

You appreciate everything you have, by earning it. I pay for everything I need. Basketball, Track, Club membership, school fees, clothes, haircuts, money for going out, car, car insurance.

I rake in 2 grand a month. Half to parents, quarter to university savings, rest I buy everything I need.

You can get a job when your 8 or whatever. Its called a flyer route, its called mowing the lawn, shoveling sidewalks.

You gotta work hard for what you want in life, and you gotta think big. I don't wanna stay broke, so I started with a regular job. Learned from others and now me and 8 buddies steal electronics and re-sell for profits. I started out with a small business of importing shoes straight from warehouse. Now I have 4 different suppliers, that get me shoes, jeans, hoodies, jackets, t-shirts, suits, electronics and I sell all that local. I got friends in 6 different schools running operations for me over there. I bring in like 50 pairs of jeans at a time. Now im thinking of expanding and running this over ebay.

I learn to balance school (honors average), volunteering, work, business, basketball, track, working out, and still going out at same time.

But at the end of the day, you learn hard work ethic. Rather than thos punk-ass bitches who go to private school and spend mommy and daddys money on brand new S4's and Rx-8 and eclipses, becoming drug addicts cuz they cant do anythying better.

Sorry about this rant, just need to get it out, especially since some loser ass rich white kids think they can be racist piece of ----s. Its ok though, they learned their lesson :)

I must agree. Illegal ways are not the right way.

Maybe II am to harsh when I say they should earn their gifts. But when I mean earn and such I also mean that they could at least buy something at the same rate back or lay some effort in it.

Buying a couple of Flowers IS not an effort.

Effort is when you lay something you have a good skill into it.

Myself. I designed my step-fathers homepage for christmas and for my mom I repaired her cycle and fixed her car and I gave her a book about cooking that she wanted really much.

    See that is effort. <.<

Your view is an interesting one and I actually agree about some of the things you say. One point is that I hate having to run around worrying about buying presents for everyone. I also agree with the fact that christmas is not all about buying presents. It is about the birth of my personal lord and savior Jesus Christ and my family really does try to focus on that more than giving and recieving presents. I dont agree with the whole everyone getting a job thing. I have a job my older brother does but my little brother is only 11 and cant work how would he really be expected to get money? He does chores for an allowance which is sort of like a job but really now how difficult is takin out the trash? I also disagree when you say that Christmas sucks. If it werent for Christmas then no one on earth would be given the gift of eternal life in Heaven because God wouldnt have sent down his sons to take our sins onto his back. It is a wonderful time that is to be spend with family and the presents are a sort of perk to this. And I completley agree when you say that the carrols suck I think that it is lame that people go walking door to door singing songs about damn figgy pudding when your trying to mind your own business.
