Photoshop Help

    sorry if this in the wrong section.

    I was wondering if there was a way to take a selected size and insert a picture in the selected area. ex: i have a template and i am trying to insert a picture into this box. the image needs to be resized but i dont know exactly how big it needs to be. any suggestions would help.

    well you could always just, paste in the image, then transform it (cntrl+t) holding shift of course.

    OR

    You could take the rectange marquee tool. Make a new layer and apply image. Select The part that you need the image in. Then Press Cntrl+c(copy). Make a new document. That should be the size of the selection. So all you have to do is open the real image. Resize it to match the other selection you made

    Hope you understood that. Just go with the 1st option. Much simpler.
