Your RAM is a little low as well, maybe consider 512MB more?

 

I would make sure you get your sensitivity set and turn off mouse acceleration. You can turn off accel by downloading the cpl mousefix- http://ftp.thecpl.com. I also play in 800 by 600 res, thats just preference though. Just advice, but I play css and 1.6 competitively

 

Your link doesnt work pooty. But I just googled it, and I dont under stand what it does....

Its registry change... so I wanna know exactly what this is going to do before I get it.

 

I usually get about 30 or so FPS. Its not great but its good enough. As long as I don't notice the lag its fine.

btw, a gig of ram makes everything faster

Im also fairly new to CS. I just got it in September (came with HL2 GOTY edition). It mostly just takes practice. The more you play, the more you learn, the better you get.

I got no more than 35 fps on any map.

I still do pretty well.

 

Ok, well I have some mroe RAM laying around in another comp in the garage, I'll prob put it in here and jus play with wut I got I guess. thanks for all the help guys.

get a better video card and more ram, and tweak your css in consol a bit. take off any unnessasary things.

Alright, well everything is fine now.

I just decided to go and buy a new gfx card.

Now I get good FPS and no lag or anything. And about the RAM, I looked in that other comp I had lieing around, and it was the wrong kind. So mabye I'll go buy some more later, right now evrything is fine tho.

i play css , im in a clan and stuff , my fps is liek 40-60 and sometimes 80-100 rarely i use a config to raise my fps taking out sprays and crap and bdy's and stuff if u want to vs me i have Xfire "pnoykid" or jst find me on a server "[NtN] Busterifle"
