Just saw the first night showing of this movie... I gotta say, it's probobly the most gruesome and grotesque movie I've ever seen. A lot better than the first I must say. One of the few prequels I have actually enjoyed.
This is seriously the only film I've been to where people stood up and clapped at the end... and I've been to at least a hundred movies.
If you really want to be grossed out and/or enjoy a little scare, go see this movie!

Is the movie based on a true story?

Yeah, Apparently this is how it all began. Shows him being born and stuff and how those people raised him.

Which one? Because the one I saw (with Jessica Biel) wasn't scary at all, and it was real short..

Actually, it's not. It was INSPIRED by true stories, like Ed Gein.

I liked the first original the best; this one was really grotesque though, especially the final murder (to elude spoilers).
