Div... looks smooth and the other needs a bit of work on the space and the planets are all outlined pretty heavily (or at least a few) which makes them stand out way too much

Div, I didn't expect this kind of foul play from you?!?! if you're going to ask people to vote for you, you should probably start with current members...

That being said I have no problem saying to "Perfect ^" that I know my LP is far from perfect (no pun intended) but planets are supposed to be defined.... but whatever, the vote counts...although I can't say I'm not disappointed that someone who can make pretty decent tags has to resort to this kind of thing...

 

TVO, a lot more work went into it. It is a very well done drawing, but that is all it takes, drawing. TVO's requires much more work and effort and creativity for the result.

 

i dont play dirty. i was just asking for some CnC on the piece at a forum i visit and while your there vote. i NEVER said for them to vote for me, not that most of them would anyways, i just joined recently and im not exactly in the 'friend' status with most of everyone... <_<


P.S. he still gave a valid vote, he made good points about both pieces.

 

I have a problem with the fact that non-members cannot see this thread unless they log in (try it yourself). And to think that someone (in a forum where you're new, and not of a friend status) would spend the time to create an account on GR, just to be able to view your piece, then vote, log off two minutes later, without so much as even spending a little time to check out some of the other aspects of this site... a little suspicious to say the least.

But seeing as I have no concrete proof, and am running off of what the situation seems to be... I have no right to ruin your reputation here for it...

However, you could make this situation very clear... by linking me to this thread, created sometime before 1:50 PM yesterday...

In which case, I would apologize profusely, and make you a tag FR as a gift.

I stated that his vote counted... I'm not one to dodge votes like that.

 

its a private forum which you have to be accepted to get into, but i'll send you a screen shot.

 

A screenshot would be useless... as someone with graphics experience can easily manipulate them...

I don't even like div, I heard he was a ----ing asshole from a lot of people, he said one of my pieces sucked, I just got back into digital art and I wouldn't post for any reason but to vote.... I wouldn't have even been to this site if he hadn't referred me to this vote at 3rd ivy, I don't like gr a whole lot to be honest, and I don't like/know him at all, I've seen celestial work done alot and executed a lot better than that, the background is pretty poor in comparison to what most people can do now with planets, it's a whored concept for people with less creativity because they can't think of anything else to work on in a large canvas, drawing takes a lot more creativity and skill, I have much more appreciation for drawing and tablet digital artwork than I do for celestial artists unless it's executed extremely well, and in this case (not to sound like an asshole) but it's not, it wouldn't have been any different if I had been browsing the forum and saw this thread and I didn't know either of you... (which I still don't)

I'm seeing some suspicious things in that thread

For instance, that the thread is in a board called "talk"... seems strange for a graphics site...

No one posted (not even in a 23 hour time span), yet someone did here... and "Perfect ^" is nowhere to be found on that board

Your last visit was yesterday at 11:07, yet it clearly states that you were on at 12:44

All of these situations seem to be a little too...perfect.

And I guess finally that "thirdivy.net" doesn't even come up on my browser when I type the url in, leaving me little ability to even apply...

But, I guess all in all, I'd rather just finish this battle, preferably with votes by people with more than one post count...

My passion is in space, and I don't know how you can declare that space takes less creativity, star patterns, clouds, nebulae, moons, asteriods, colors, but that's your opinion... as for a whored concept... lol hardly...

Yeah, well most people use shots taken from NASA, it's kinda hard to get a bad texture when you use the real thing.... mine are made from Photoshop filters alone...
