I would have to say iPod. The Zune has very limited WiFi capabilities, and from what i understand you can only have the same song sent to you once and you can only listen to it three times or keep it for three days before it isn't accessible anymore. iPod has been around longer as well and is alot more simple and user friendly. iTunes has a WAY bigger selection then the Microsoft Marketplace as well.
I just got the zune and I have to say it's amaaaaazing. The look, navigation, features, everrrrtyhing is better trust me. My brother has an iPod and he was jealous of my zune.
ROFL I just had a Zune in my own hands for the first time... it's soooo big lol It sucks really bad, it's bigger and larger than a game boy color WTF it's a joke xD
You should pick which one you want. Yes, they both have their pros and cons, but you should be the deciding factor in your..... decision..
unfortunately, that iTunes market place is DRM infected. fvck that shid, just get it from napster or something. Only time where DRM is justifiable is when apple doesn't even have the feature. als you're complaining about the zune having it's wifi feature being limited... limited is greater than non-existant as for me, I have no idea, I don't know enough about the technical diferences between the two, all i know is that I have an inborn distrust of M$ I did try oen in a store for a secodn thoguh, I will say the zoons do look sexy, but their navigation system appears to be ----, could be wrong though I only used it for a few seconds.
Ehh, to me Zune just looks like Microsoft's attempt to beat apple. From what I heard it only takes wma and wmv formats. Eww. Id go with Ipods. They can take more beating than people think. I only don't one because I lost it in the forest
Here we go, I own an ipod 60gig video and a zune. Comparison, i-pod; pros- smaller (tiny bit), has been out longer, i-tunes Cons- smaller screen, resolution on zune is better, scratches so bad, no wifi, no radio. Zune- Pros- Song sharing ( hacked so you can keep a song 4 eva)(it only takes about 10 seconds to transfer a 7MB song) Big bright screen Good interface with background changing Can be used to stream videos, music and pictures to your x360. GReat headphones Videos are viewed on widescreen Not easily scratched Radio Cons; little big marketplace is not that great it can have bugs that we dont know about yet. Well if i were you i would go with the zune becuase it is more NEXT GEN then the i-pod. The i-pod will come out with another version in less then a year to compete with the zune and thats how it always is with the i pod. I do like my 60 gig but the zune is better. Either get the zune or wait for next gen i-pod. And the size is not really that much different,
found this if it helps: http://www.zunescene.com/comparison/ or go with an Archos. If the zune is cheaper (didnt check but seems to be) then I-pod, and is retailing at $250 for 30GB storage. Zune has a Wifi, though personally if the songs stop playing after a while I wouldnt use it (if you would great, just saying) colour screen and takes upto mp4 (so vids, piks and songs) Right well lets look at Archos: I chose the 404 for this, its around $50 more expensive but I'm fairly certain if you shop around you can get the price down. Its also 30Gb, does all the above plus records straight off the TV, has a 3.5" screen compared to the Zune with 3", much better resolution and wider support for many more formats, and gives DVD quality feedback. Most Archos products also come with support for most mobile phone video games but I cant find this in the specs so not sure. You may not have the extra to spend, all I'm saying is with other companies like iRiver, Creative and Archos out there the M$ and Apple fashion statements may not be the way to go. I dont know about the Zune yet, but my personal oppinion of the I-pod is not to tough one with a barge pole: out of nearly forty friends I know that have bought I-pods, three or four are yet to break or have 'battery failure'. The Dixons in my local town used to get 1 I-pod back a day on average.
