Easy Way?is There?

    Hey guys well i have alot of albums on my pc where the individual tracks are not named theyre like 'track 1 - u2 18'
    Is there any easy way to update the files names on windows media or something so i can put them on my ipod ?

    there is a program called picard or something like that. except it is really hard to use. I didn't completely understand it so I un-installed it. It check the lenght of the songs against their database. It then names the songs but you have to configue it right and I didn't understand it so thats why I un-installed it. Maybe you might have a bit more sucess.

    Thanks for that casey, yeh i was just hoping itunes had a feature or at least windows media did, i cant be bothered rename them all.

    If they are bought album's then windows media player will rename them for you, but it you got then from a disc that is copied or downlaoded the whole album then it will not recognise them and will not renmae then. Same with iTunes. Just type song labeler into google and a load of programs will come up and some of them will work.

    Most are legal/paid but windows doesnt automatically rename them im sure i used one of their options before? Never mind let me do the traditional google search way thanks for this casey.

    Depending on what WMP you have you can update your albums.

    So if your burnt cds are generally of one real cd, for instance if you burnt a tupac cd with all the songs on it and only those then with WMP11 you can right click on the CD and hit update album, it should find the album name, along with the songs.

    G6 renamer does it i think...Not sure but you could try :P
