The psp is great portable item.. you can play games which can play games with graphics between ps2 and ps1. You can download music onto memory card...and watch dvd quality movies in widescreen! But like having a home entertainment center you need good sound. The psp stock speakers are pretty poor. ( i mean their fine for casual gameplay) I reccomend going to a store (walmart, target, best buy etc,) and buying a pair of 20$ sony studio headphones..They are black and have earmuffs that go over your ear.(are more comfortable than earbuds) they sound dramtically better than stock stereo or the earbuds that come with psp value pack..Its kinda like comparing 5.1 surround sound to a mono speaker, Twisted metal i could hear the engine revving..and missiles firing 10X better. My movie experience was great. When playing music on these headphone bass is good and so is everything elses..And just for 20$ you can maximize enjoyment of the psp by about 50% If you know someone who has a psp get them a pair or get your own self a pair for christmas Its worth it.. um, syphon filter is good, madden is good.. there's alot of good games imo.. just go to blockbuster or something and rent some games
get twisted metal its now only 20$ ..Metal gear solid portable is so far one the best wait no maybe the best FPS for psp in my opinion..I havent tried the online yet but its suppose to be awesome..takes a while to master controls but thats true with any game. Valkyrie profile Lennth its a port from the ps1 game that had limited realese..the triangle,circle,sqaure,box each control a different characters attack and when u press buttons in certain orders it allows combos and special attacks.their is also some puzzle solving in the game..Its a great game on the go..its really time consuming and the storyline suck you in... killzone liberation and tekken dark ressuraction area also suppose to be good. Im too lazy to find direct link but u can go to sonystyle .com and go to headphones tehir should be one their for 20$ and the specs and stuff should be there/. Definatley try some diffferent games..hell u might even go all the way and do like gamefly or something like that yeah they are good but trust me i also use these headphones for my ipod and their is still an improvement in bass..ipod headphones when u turn on loud get distorted..these headphones on loud..can kill ur eardrums and dont forget u csn upgrade memory cards which can store game demos, music, dvds, picture,wallpaper etc. i reccomend psp over DS
