Now, Windows Sound Recorder comes built in with Windows XP. You can access it by going to, Start ---> All Programs ---> Accessories ---> Entertainment ---> Sound Recorder. This little program allows you to record soud from a microphone. However, it cuts of after 60 seconds of recording. I read somewhere that Sound Recorder could record up to the ammount your harddrive could take. My question is, how do I extend its recording time? Only about 5 minutes will be needed. Thanks very much for reading guys.

This can be done by recording blank stuff then going to begging and recording your stuff. But I recommend Audacity its free and takes up little space and is totally worth the download.
