Xbox Live Sliver?

    Im appearntly blind and stupid... I just got a xbox live gold card. It says I cant use it unless I have a silver member ship. I checked eb, gamestop,wal-mart,best buy, and target I cant find a fricking silver card.

    am I haveing bad luck or did I miss something?

    I have the orginal xbox if it makes a differnce.

    unless im mistaken, you cant use live gold with a normal xbox. Cause you get silver for free if you have a 360. I dont know. I guess you could try just putting it in your normal one, but I don't think it will work. Sorry man.

    No, There are two different cards
    [​IMG] That is the 12 month card for the normal xbox
    and this is the 12 month for the 360
    [​IMG] you most likely just bought the wrong card hopefully this clears up some stuff for you

    you could try going back to wherever you got it and exchanging it as long as it hasn't been used?

    it says xbox, it says gold, it says online, it says subscription - buy it..

    in the future, read everything else.

    There's 2 diff versions of xbox live. The gold and the regular. the regular is used for regular xbox. And the gold for the 360. The gold, has many more features and includes alot better options! :P
