they arent working on my computer. they work on my ipod. when i plugg them in the computer in the right holes(i think) no sound and the microphone doesnt work. i thought headphones had there own hole. they only work when i unplugg my speakers and plug the one wire in that hole. still the microphone hasnt been working.
They usually have 2 "wires" coming off the end, one goes into the mic jack and the other into the speak/headphone jack.
Work to the wise here, get a headset that is a USB one, it just releives the stress of having to plug two things in lol
maybe u didnt set settings for sound ? every time i unplug or plug in my headset i get sound manager poping out and asking me to set what kind device iam conecting etc... At first i experienced same problem as you since i didnt know what that thing was for. Maybe this solves ur problem ?
Dont trust the color coding! It doesnt really work... I got mine in different ones.... I think for me, one red(mic) and the other black or gray hole(headphone sound) so it's t3h gai. just play some music, so when it plugs into the right port, it starts playing.. and keep switching where u plug it in and ----. Make sure that micboost and sound is on in sound control panel ----. I shouldnt of wasted my time here cuz he hasnt stopped by in 5 days and u guys probly said what i said allready but eh. o well
