Desired Position: Editor and Article Writer and VP Position

Why so many positions?: In short, I love to write, to edit and arrange, and to organize and lead. I am most certainly able to handle the duties required in all these sections

What gaming experience do you have: I play console, PC, and board games. Ranging from Halo 2, to Starcraft, to RISK, to GunZ Online, to Zelda: Twilight Princes, to Diablo II, to Texas Hold'em. I have played almost every greatest hit title for any gaming system and I am extremely talented at most of them, not to brag.

Writing experience: I have always been great at english and achieved high marks in class. I am currently taking advanced literary classes as well as writing classes. I have already written quite a few short stories, and have started to brainstorm the plotline for a fantasy novel. I have written reviews for movies on IMDB, as well as some games on a game site a few years back.

Here's an example of my writing and an entry that I made for kirbir's contest:

She looked up and down the street, checking for cars. Seeing the roads clear, as expected at midnight, she crossed. She tread on, the man of her dreams plaguing her brainstream. Looking back and up she marveled at the eerie beauty of the blue full moon, missing the silhouetted figure following her. Slowly she ambled along the sidewalk. The sandy beach to her left. Just ahead she could make out the beach party and bonfire she was destined for, in the distance the longbeach pier stretched out to the drop-off. As she stepped on to the sand to start towards the party, she decided that tonight she would rather not do the whole party thing, he will be there. Having told her Mom that she would be sleeping overnight at a friends house, she was stuck with a decision. Go home and tell mom the truth, or go to the party. She was commencing the turn around home when the pier caught her eye. For some untold reason, she longed to walk on it. It wouldn't matter if I came home ten minutes later. So she trekked on through the soft sand towards it. The dark stalker followed. As she stepped onto the first of the steps leading onto the pier, she stopped as a knot formed in her stomach, she felt uneasy. Why? After a moment she carried on. Glancing out at the ocean as she walked the length of the pier. The girl stopped and stood on the end of the pier, the cool ocean air knocking her amber-brown curls into a frenzied play. Gurly felt something brush against her shoulder and turned around with a start. There, not an inch away, was Llamaman, the backlight from the moon casting deep shadow over his angular face. What ar-- Her mind started to think, but she stopped it, unaware of having done so. She could smell the strawberry-mint breath rushing over her. A smile played on her lips. He still uses that strawberry mouthwash after he brushes. The vapor fogged his eyeglasses, over and over, breath and breath. Ten years she thought, ten years I've been waiting for this moment. Ten years and now what? Should I rush in? What if I'm bad? She gazed into his eyes, expecting the usual uninterested stare, but instead found a want, a hunger, that bled deep within their depths. What if-- His lips met hers in a rushed awkward motion that quickly turned into a passionate tongue battle. Feelings welled up inside that she had hidden so well over these years, all that pain vanished, the uneasy knot in her stomach forgotten. All that mattered was this insane gnawing lovehunger that spread throughout her body. After what seemed like seconds, but was actually an hour, they broke apart. She trembled, not from the cold saltbreeze, but from the immenseness of the last hour. He wrapped his slender arms around her, pulling her face into his chest. She stayed like that for a few moments then looked up at him. The moonlight now slid across his face, revealing it's chiseled features. His eyes were lost in thought, but he smiled, kissing her nose lightly. It was at this moment that she knew, once and for all, that she loved him. I love you. She lay her head back down on his chest and listened to the gentle waveclash behind her. After a few minutes, the music of a beachfront nightclub played across the sand. Llamaman started rocking her gently to the music, which soon turned into a romantic slowdance. They stood there rocking back and forth, all night, and long after the nightclub closed, until the first of the dawnsun creft over the horizon. Then they stood watching it slowly rise. Gradienting from a blood red, into a pale yellow. As the first cars started appearing on the roads, he turned to her, and spoke the first words either had heard in 12 hours. "I love you too."

Available Hours: Every day, 6-12 hours a day.

Why you are interested in these positions: I am interested because I had this idea a few months back but never got around to making it myself due to the fact that I started the STH Program. I believe I would be a great asset to the team. I can spend large amounts of time working and planning. I am extremely organized and can get along with almost anyone. If you hire me I will work to the best of my ability to make you proud of what you have created.

Why you should choose me: I believe I can add new ideas and sections to the newspaper. I work well in a team and more importantly, alone. I am available always, as I have no job aside from ebay sales. I can coordinate everything you need coordinated, and help with anything you need help on. Above all, I am a nice guy, and easy to get along with. When I saw the topic for buying a subscription to the newspaper, I thought, "I would like to be part of that". Then when I saw this topic, I was excited that I may have the chance to actually do so.
