I'm going to be going for the Zune this christmas. As mentioned above, it has the built in WiFi, and it also has a built in FM Tuner. Also, if you're basing your decision strictly on us, please read up about the 3-day/3-time use on WiFi gathered songs. Nonetheless, I want the Zune over the iPod because the screen is bigger, and it supports more video file types. Also, the graphics design is a lot better. Word of caution, it is bulkier, and the controls are worse then the iPod. -I like to say both sides of a case, but either way, don't base your choice just off of me, or anyone on here; do some of your own research. Personally last year I got a Ipod video and filled it with music and have barely gone anywhere without it since I love it so I'd say go with the Ipod.
By the way, I have owned an iPod Video and I did like it. It had a nice size, but although the overall small size is nice, I prefer a bigger screen. Also, the battery life wasn't all that great.
i have a crap ipod mini but the video is sweet because the battery life is great and its muchc heaper than before. i say go with ipod. you can certainly trust apple with waranty.
Ipod...they have beeen out for a long while and have a lot of stuff built for them speakers,radio tuners,batter packs,arm bands,over like 300 different cases, and itunes is really good
yeah but apple always wants you to buy their newest version to get with all the updates theyre giving. I don't have an example, but i know its happened. I've had a nano for 7 months now and it hasn't given me one problem. Well once it deleted everything, but still. I really hate apple, but I'd go with iPod.
I do not really know much about the Zune, but I think the IPod is the best any day. It has been in the music market for a lot longer than Zune and is still a great piece of music equipment. Good luck choosing!
ya u can put w/e on a zune. zune: bigger screen, bluetooth features, extremely hackable ipod: nice interface, better design, lots of 3rd party products personally i would probably go for a zune. they seem pretty cool.
if i were u id def. go with the ipod video, im not a big fan of the apple products but the zun is stupid.... the screen is bigger, but u have to turn the zun sideways to watch the videos..... so go with the ipod.
I have something to add about this stupid zune, for one who really cares if it has FM radio? Nothing really good on the radio anymore, kind of stupid imo... something they didn't put much thought it along with this stupid wifi. Hey look everybody lets have a wifi party and trade songs it will be so much fun. Another novel idea.
