I have bought my computer in a small specialized shop, with a guarantee. And i keep on bringing it back to get it repaired because the computer often stopped and i had to restart it to blue or black screens, or sometimes it freezes at the windows loading screen or sometimes it just keeps on loading forever on the windows load screen. The problem keeps on coming back, but when I dont play with it for a while (like an hour+) then i can start it and it wont crash until i put more stress to it(like playing a game, like calll of duty 2 or oblivion) and i can only find 2 reasons (im not very good with computers btw) 1. the motherboard is new and errors occur, id have to wait and download every driver and one will eventually correct my problem. 2. My computer is overheating because of the not so great GPU. Anyways im wondering if you guys can give me your input or help me fix my problem. Here are what i know about my computer (im using Everest ultimate edition). general info: AMD Athlon X2 4600+ AM2 socket @ 2.4 Ghz (stock); ASUS M2N4-SLI; 1024 MB Kingston (2x512) DDR2-533 DDR2 SDRAM; 320 GB SATA-2 7200 RPM; nVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE (512 MB); (gpu clock: 450Mhz, memory: 710 mhz Realtek AC'97 Audio / 4.1 sound system Im not sure but i also think my power supply is 430 or 450 watts. I have never overclocked or screwed it up. Here are some temperatures. this were takin with everest ultimate edition with only msn, windows media player and firefox(2) running. and i dont have any cooling except a small fan thats on the case. 1.4 = cpu core voltage 3.3 = cpu cooling fan 35 = harddrive 30 = Cpu 1 / Core 2 34 = Cpu 1 / Core 1 25 = CPU temperature 35 = motherboard when i do alt ctrl dlt it also says i have euhm 36 processes or programs or wtvr. anyways i will try to post some temperature when playing a game. if anyone can help me or just say what they think the problem is then thanx alot.
It can take some time to pin point a problem with a PC. Take the side of your case off first and then try to stress the graphics card. Are you running any anti-virus anti-spyware software ? Have you backupped up all your important data and tried a fresh install of your windows OS ?
ok, i know what your problem is. It's your board. I had an ASUS M2N-SLI deluxe that I ordered from Newegg, open box. it would randomly restart, could not detect my DVD burner half the time; when it worked perfect on my spare computer; so I had enough with it, so I got a MSI K9N Platinum. all the problems stopped.
the place i got my computer at made a back up of my files (a while back tho, i got plenty more prgrams, games and music by now:S) and reinstalled windows a few times, but it did not correct the problem. Also im not to sure about that stressing the graphic card and all. bt id rather leave that to the shop. and MAster your point is interesting, maybe i should get informed and link this page to the shop. anyways thanx, anymore comments are apreciated.
