Alright, for the sake of arguement. Lets assume, that somehow time travel is possible.

So, lets say it is. Now, if you were to travel back in time, you would be in a sense, "replaying" that particular event, or time. What happens to thet point in time when you aren't visiting? Does it keep replaying and replaying? When does it start to replay, and stop then start again?

Now, of course, none of this is definitly true, but if it were, what would happen?

That means, that bad things that have happened keep happening. That would suck, eh?

Time travel doesn't make any sense, any way you look at it....

This isn't really about time travel, more about time...

You know what else is weird is the grandfather paradox...

Suppose you traveled back in time and killed your biological grandfather before he met your grandmother. As a result, one of your parents (and by extension, you) would never have been conceived, so you could not have traveled back in time after all. In that case, your grandfather would still be alive and you would have been conceived, allowing you to travel back in time and kill your grandfather, and so on.

I dont believe in it but as you said, for arguments sake, what happens in Harry and the Prisoner of Azkaban is how I think it would work

well, lets look at it in a really lame TV recording sense:
you record something on TV right? even if your not there at all, all the shows still show, no matter what channel, what time, or what TV. basically, if you travel back in time, and replay a particular event, in my opinion at least, all the other events occur as well, you just don't witness them.
