When you send someone an ammount of money via PayPal, PayPal assumes that you are buying a physical item from that person, so it asks you for your address which is the shipping address. The reciever of the money will then have a button that says "Ship" next to your payment in the history section. You also need to have a verified Address when someone sends money to you in order to protect yourself incase he does a chargeback from his credit card company as an intention to scam you. (to not loose the money and win the case, you must be eligable to be Protected by the Seller's Protection Policy, and you can find the requirements here: http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p...icy_spp-outside) So even if you are not selling the person a Physical item, its allways a good precaution. It's going to help you in times when someone trys to scam you with a chargeback, even though it only covers Physical Items, PayPal has no way of knowing that you didin't sell him a Physical item. So allways ask the person to provide a verified address of his when sending you money so you could be eligable (remember: having him enter a verified address isn't going to help unless you meet all of the other requirements which i have given a link to above)
oh so if they press ship will anything be shipped to me? because i don't want that and i'm gonna send money for buying creds i don't have 10$ yet but i'm just wondering
Dang. Just found out Moola does not support paypal yet. So if you want money it must be mailed to you via check
yeah. They send you a check instead. But there is a way to give it to a friend or something invite them to moola. then purposely keep losing so they can get the balance. so if you want to give them 50 cents lose to them until they get 50 cents Then they can cash in later.
btw, is anyone sure this isnt a scam to get like ur credit card number or hack your paypal? my sister got me thinking about it...
