unban me at royal designs. lol ok here we go first, everything is far to big. the text is huge imo. and the image to. you miss 1 px at the box at the left why is it there anyways lol ? if you want to go for a minimalistic style keep it that way. the drop shadow is to hard, but i suggest you remove it totally. and i hope you dont keep it as a total image lol. might sound harsh but still needs a lot of work imo.

Who cares what size your monitor is, a customer/visitor isn't going to look at your site and go it doesn't matter the guy who made it must have a widescreen. Instead they will leave due to poor design First off you should never put simple text into an image, something that you can code outside of an image, its painful to update, compression makes it look bad, and it really does just look crap (the text as an image not the thing in general)
lol, it aint a customer, it was just something I put together real quick, and I asked people on normal size moniters and they said the size was fine.. and trust me I know how to code, I just didn't want to.
i just looked at it now while im at work. and um, i get 2 scroll bars lol vertical and horizontal. maybe get a few pixels out of it.
