Motherboard Problem

    ive been advised to search up my motherboard then check for problems etc but i dno where to go to query in. wondering if someone could help out.

    Motherboard: GA-81G1000MK
    Problem: it will NOT beep on start up.

    thanks in advance. anyone who does this gets my undeniable respect and a big fat -rep xP

    Does it still start-up? If so, why are you so concerned about the beep?

    Yah the beeping isent to important, is it? Come to think of it, i don't think mine beeps either

    The only thing I can think of is to open up the manual that came with the mobo and check your jumper settings. I've heard of a lot of problems with those speakers anyways.

    his system isn't posting nor beeping, that is the issue.

    read stickie, we need to know as much about the system as possible to make any real recommendations.

    from what I understand, you're on a Pentium4/celeron D system with DDR1 RAM.

    There are a whole lot of things which can attribute to this.
    ohh I also forgot to emntion resetting CMOS as an answer. Try finding the CMOS jumper and resetting ti temporarily, if you can't find the jumper remove the battery for a bit and then put it back in.
