When you buy a license, they give you the board files. $149.99 for a standard license or $249.99 for a business license. Details here So dont think anyone will sell you one for credits.
Oh my! i thought i would be closer to $70. wow. Well i think what i will do is ask someone who already has an ipb board with a license to give me ROOT admin access and they just be inactive. so i don't own it, i just run it is that legal btw??
Not unless they have multiple licenses. A license doesn't mean they own it - it means IPS have given their permission for that person to use it... and that person only. You can't let someone else use something you don't own... it would be like saying "Here you go, feel free to use my boss's car...". So no, it wouldn't be, unless they have multiple/unlimited licenses.
