Yes, but how many stabbings/muggings/beatings/other weaponings do you have in the UK? Criminals will get what they want, guaranteed. Unless, of course, you'd like to cut off everybody's arms/legs. But then again, we might see wheelchair-by headbuttings, so you never know.
It's funny, with New Year's coming up, my rap trio has been planning making a song against lost bullets. I would allow guns to people who have never gotten arrested, but that wouldn't change anything, people would still get their hands on arms. ...hands on arms :lol: :lol:
Okay, criminals DON'T FOLLOW THE LAW...or they wouldn't be criminals, agreed? Now, if it were illegal to own guns, why would they follow that rule? They wouldn't, they'd get them illegally. Leaving the good citizens unprotected.
Exactly, if weapons were illegal crime rates probably wouldn't drop a whole lot. That's psychotic. The people of a country should always be allowed to own a weapon. I don't think that a government should be someone's mommy and daddy, telling us what we can and can't do.
I believe guns shouldn't be made in the first place, who made them first anyways? I think civilians shouldn't own guns, they end up using it to end the lives of people the "hate" at the moment, or perhaps for their personal gain. But in a town of 400, people shouldn't be able to do that much stuff. It would be nice to picture a world without guns, with criminals robbing banks using sticks.

You cant stop criminals from carrying guns. Thats the point. If they use it for a crime, then yes cops can bust them.
as a HUNTER, firearms should be allowed. Yes, although i am 15, i have taken a hunter safety course. I know how to properly handle, shoot, load, and treat a firearm properly. people that dont know what they are doing with a gun should not own one. if people buy one for protection, at least go through a course so that you learn what you are doing... and before people start flaming at me for being a hunter, we help keep the population of animals down so that there isnt a huge increase in animals such as bears and mountin lions. and hunting isnt just killing an animal for the sake of killing it... it is to HUNT for food. (hunt being the root word for hunter)... so when i have a successful hunt (after killing an animal legally) i take it to go get the meat processed so that i can eat it. and yes i know that was totally off topic so im stopping. Summary: guns should be legal. and the governemtn sucks with the police. z0rz.
i'd rather get shot and die a quick death rather then getting beat to death. if someone is trying to shoot you, chances are they're trying to kill you. with a gun there's a chance you can survive, if someone is going to beat you they can kill you or seriously cripple you. i'd rather take the chance of being shot.
to me its more of a hobby / way to bomd with friends / family.. but i guess you can consider it a sport... <3

The right to bear arms is part of the American Bill of Rights (2nd Amendment). It should not be changed. It was one of the principles the US was founded upon and is yet another civil liberty coming under fire. Criminals will always get access to guns - period. For instance, guns are not sold in the UK, but criminal gangs still have them - and I'm not talking about only handguns either - they have Uzi's, Ingram's etc ... some seriously heavy firepower. I believe that you have the right to defend your home, family and property with reasonable force. If you or your loved ones are in life threatening danger from an attacker, then I believe that force should be lethal. A burglar sure would think twice about robbing some old lady, if he knew she was sat in her rocking chair with a shotgun on her lap . Yeah, guns kill people. So do knives, baseball bats and hammers.... does that mean cooking, major league and DIY should all be controlled too? Incidentally, through out history, virtually every nation that has surrendered their firearms have been enslaved and massacred by their leaders. Food for thought :unsure: !
No i dont think people should keep firearms without a liscense. If they did then w/e they can keep it.
