Hiding Files On My Website?

    Right now if I go on my website it shows all my files since I have no web template. I dont want anyone to be able to view it like that, I want it so I have to DIRECTLY link them to the file for it to work. Any idea how?

    just go get a photobucket account and set it to private.

    sry thats my only idea but im sure there's something better u want, GL

    Which FTP Program are you using?

    Right click the directory they are in and go to CHMOD, uncheck the 'Read' peoperty.

    click on the file and copy the url, place a basic webpage in the account so they can't get to the files then place the link on the webpage and advertise the webpage :P

    It says forbidden which is what I want, but now I cant even see the files in the ftp im using. Im using just IE where you go ftp.domainhere.com

    Upload a blank index.htm (spelt like that, no capitalization) to the directory...
