i was busy uploading ipb to my site with SmartFTP but then my computer shut down.. and now one of the files are half way uploaded.. (for example the file on my computer is 13KB but its 10KB on my site) is there any way i can reupload the files but only the ones who dont exactly match sizes, then overwrite them? in reward i will make you a l33t sig or something else.. please help..
i can't.. i dont know which file was not uploaded right.. i didn't keep track of it.. there are like 2000 files.. so i can't go through every single one..
Go to your general options in Smart FTP and select "Overwrite if exists" and re-upload all the files. It will prompt you on the first file that exists, just select yes to overwrite and it will overwrite them all.
I was just about to say that. If that doesn't work, you might end up having to manually check for it.
The simplest way of doing things is delete the files you uploaded then upload the whole thing again. However, using smartFTP, you should just be able to drag the files to the FTP server, and it will ask you if you wish to overwrite, at which point you would say Yes, and make sure "all" is checked.
