Need Help

    Well yeah i read the requirements for source and my graphics card meets it, but everytime i play source in like regular maps like dust2 inferno stuff like that i lag like hell i cant even move its so bad, but when i play custom maps like iceworld and stuff im lag free and its great whats the problem do i need a better graphics card, if so can you reccommend me one. Thanks

    btw talking about counter strike source

    you are probably going by the minimum list, not the reccomended list...

    as for a new card, what is your current card and what type is it? (agp, pci-e)

    umm im not sure i think its intell express family chip thingy lol im bad with graphics card stuff sorry, and maybe i thought i had a dif graphics card, btw i always look at the reccomended tab.. by the name of my card i can tell it sucks so any reccomendations?

    umm k so let me get this right...

    you have a graphics card. you haven't said which one though...

    and FYI model numbers are ---- for comparing card. it might suggest a GeForce 5900ultra... a 6200 is less powerful than a 5900 ultra... it's compareable to a 5700 vanilla.

    also recomende settings are just that, recomended for a so-so experience.

    not likely. the 5 and 6 series are low as dirt. I can sell you my old XFX 5500... I just need $15

    A better way is to download CPU-Z and running that. It will give you all the specs you need.

    Just google CPU-Z and you'll find the link.

    Master, you're selling that card for $15?

    i opened my computer i didnt find nothing, i dld cpu-z i didnt see nothing about graphics cards T_T

    then you probably just have the old PCI...
