I was playing WoW today in the middle of a quest and 2 real players ran up to me and killed me :/ there names were in red and there lvl was question marks? they waited about 2 times for me to ressurect just to kill me again? :/ how is that possible they can do that? im playing on a normal server.
If you were on a normal server, you must have /pvp'ed, meaning you were flagged for combat, and the opposing faction could openly attack you. Are you sure your not on a PVP server? If you are, then your always flagged for combat. You got ganked Oh, The ?? lvl means that they are higher lvls than you. +10 i think
You probably flagged yourself by mistake then you can tell if theres a cation crest next to your HP/Mana bars. You turn it off bye typing /pvp which should tell you that you will be unflagged in 5min when you remain out of PVP combat. It could have been mobs that were on auto PVP and when they saw you killed you
