Neeed Helpp!

    Just bought alot of psd's worth overall about 1.7k and the people uploaded them all using rapidshare and megaupload! When I try to download them it says the download limit extedded and I have'nt even downloaded anything using them yet!

    Anything to change this :eek:

    When you go to the site, does it give you that error and not let you download the psd?

    If so it could be that too many people are downloading atm

    When I go onto megaupload... I wait the time it says and then click download and a new screen comes up saying;

    "Download limit exteeded"

    Ok so it could be what i said...some sites have a limit of how many downloads they let at any one time, there maybe too many downloads right now, try again later.

    Its happened to me also and it worked later on :)

    oo thanks although it's saying it with all them and also... the psd's are full rights so noone else cud be downloading it :S

    nono, the hosting website lets a limit of people who are allowed to download on their site, other people may be downloading other things, not your psd's :)

    If you dont have premium account at RS,you can donwload only one time in a day.

    Wrong m8.

    You can download one thing in 1hour and 30min.

    After that tome u can download again someting, and then you need to wait again 1h.30min.

    Both wrong. It depends on the size of the file. I believe it's like 100MB per hour, up to 300MB per file (meaning once you download one 300MB file, you have to wait 3 hours.)

    Kirbir, I don't think that is the issue. Rapidshare almost always has bandwidth that can be used. What his problem is that his ISP has probably put him behind a Proxy IP, then a lot of users of that ISP have the same IP. Rapidshare, Megaupload, and other such places track how much you have downloaded and at what time by your IP. If somebody else downloads something from a site that tracks your IP, and then you want to, the site has no way of differenctiating between the two, so it denies your download.

    You're going to have a bit of a problem trying to download from hosting sites with your predicament. Ask the person who you downloaded the tut and PSD from to upload it to an FTP, and you can download it from there.
