Colour Problem.

Ok im fairly good with computers and can fix almost anything that goes wrong with it, but this problem has puzzled my head, someone just tried to help me via irc but he could only suggest 'degauss' which i do not have lol.

Ok well yesterday night when i came onto my computer, all the colours had ----ed up, i messed with the 'brightness and contrast' to get it so that i could actually see the writing, lol but it still isnt completely fixed. Ive tried everything that i know but i just cant seem to get it back to normal.

If you take a look at this print screen, can you see like a greeny? coloured tinge at the top? That shouldnt be like that but i cant get it back to normal.

Anyhow, when i came onto my computer today i got this error:

BTHelpNotifier.exe
Entry point not found.

The procedure entry name GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link library. PSAPI.DLL.

What is wrong? lol I have no clue...

Another thing that mayb cause this is a magnetic field. If you have a old monitor like mine the electrons will be atrracted to the magnatic field wich will basicly ---- up your colors.

If you have a newert LCD or flat screen them this as nothing to do with ti

It could be your monitor dying, slowly... can you try another monitor on that? could be your video card as well. make sure your monitor cable it snugly fit into the back of your computer, and that the power cord is snugly in.

 

This is a pretty new computer and it is also a flat screen so i know it is nothing to do with that, everything is in the correct part and fitted 'snugly' heh, that was one of the first things i checked
