A Icecream Brand Idea

I have a great idea for a new brand of ice cream, I also have a slogan..its very good trust me..so do I have to get a Patent for it?

 

i believe you'd have to get them copy written, not patented.

No, it would be a patent. Believe it or not, ice cream companies hold patents. Everything from the packaging down to the machines they use is patented. First, start off by going to here and read up on things a bit.
