Fraps

    I am having trouble recording with fraps. The video will go by really fast and the sound is normal speed.

    Fraps 2.8.1 build 6403
    Latest sound driver.
    Latest video driver.
    Win XP SP2

    My brother had this, he didn't find a solution.

    He just uninstalled, and re-installed.

    Yes it works fine, but he has a windows update too, don't know what one though.

    uninstalled... reinstalled...

    same thing...

    got i hate window updates

    I have all available updates. The problem still persists.

    I got it.

    WMP 11 is so screwed up. I can open non-sound videos in WinAmp. But it doesnt view the video if it has sound. W/O sound, It plays normally. So its just WMP.
