Credit Removal Suggestions

i rekon admins should purchase some top notch PSD's (like the 3letter banned word) and sell them in the shop nd then that will get rid of some creds

 

Loving the ideas 'cept the admin one.
Maybe the whole forum could create a big PSD pack, then sell it LR for like 20 credits a go. Then delete the credits.
Of course, this PSD pack would have to be real good.

 

That would take alot of work, and would take too long time to set up.

They are removing the credz to try to get a nice rate (1000credz= 5$)
Why they don't make a rule that will forbid all guys on gr to sell credz?
So if people can't buy credz, the only way to buy them is to buy them from GR(GR will have to create a "bank" with special rates, like 1000=5$...)so if people want credz they will have to pay that price.
And someone catched selling credz will be banned or warned dunno.

It looks cool for me, because i am noob and if i win some credz i will use them to buy tuts and improve my skill,
Now for the Hight/------ rated guys, what will they do with credz if they can't sell it ? i don't think that they will stay on gr if they can't make profit by sharing they works, so what about selling their credz to that GR bank but for a smaller rate? like 1000 credz = 2-3$.

So GR will buy 1000 credz for 2-3$ and when someone will buy them for 5$ they will make a nice profit, and all guys on gr will make profit and be happy

 

I like the idea of not being able to sell credits, but it'll probaby never happen.

I think a new rule should be put in place about .PSD tags max prices. No .psd is worth 2-3k (roughly $15 if the value goes up again).

 

1. You could offer an auction on Administrative powers for a day. - Definite no. That would end in disaster.
2. Offer maybe 10 or 20 Donator and Premium Memberships at discount prices in the Auction Room. - We've already offered them for credits at generously low prices in the shop, I'd say that's good enough. The point of the Donator membership is to donate money to the site to improve it, credits are another worry.
3. Tax members on sales within the The Marketplace. - Difficult to moderate and enact upon, don't see that as being a possibility.
4. Offer Advertising with credit pricings. - A possibility, but it would take some sorting out with Shaggy.
5. Charge 20 credits to compete in SOTW contests, add 10 of those credits to the prizes, and delete the other half. - Discussed before and decided against it as we've already got a slump in entries. Bringing a fee into effect would only make it worse.
6. Take 5% of everyones credits. Or, take 10 credits from each person, 50000 members x 10 = 500000 credits. - We've discussed this before and it's been brought up many times, we never really came to a decision about it since all reactions to it were mixed.

 

In my opinion the only good one is the last one. However, for it to be better, I feel that it should only come into effect upon people with 1,000 credits or more, and have it happen once a month. How about all banned accounts (which are going to stay banned) are deleted? What about some people generously donating any .PSDs that they feel like and selling an entire package for LR, then fining the credits out of the system (I believe this was already suggested?).

 

Or: 5 credits taken from people with below 100
20 Credits taken from people with over 2k
30 Credits taken from people who have over 10k

Or if people have a crapload of credits,and doesn't use any of them after a period of time, take some away from them.

 

Instead of admin mabye make it mod =P?
