Need Help To Quit Smoking

damn dude, you started when you were friggin 14 thats not cool. Its also not so smart since your not even a teen, and still considered as a kid. You should at least have waited till you were at least 16-17. I just started smoking this year, i smoke cloves or kretek (non-nicotine cigarettes). They're awesome taste good, and its casual so their non-addictive. The best way i can think for you to quit is to take the nicotine patches or prescribed medication

does rehab ring a bell anyone? If you're really serious about quitting, then commit yourself to rehab. (unless you've been smoking weed also...don't think it's a good idea to go public with that one)

 

I've been smoking heavily for 9+ yrs been at a pack and a half a day for 7 yrs and to tell you the truth, I get sicker than hell when I don't have a cig after about 12 hours it's sad but I am determined to quit and I say it's all about mustering up the balls to say f it

 

well the only person i know who smoked was my step dad the way he quit was with candy lol

he always carried around a pack of bottlecaps(the candy from wonka) because its his favorite candy and whenever he felt like a cigarette he ate some of those. sure he ate a ---- load of bottlecaps for a while but its better than smoking now he doesnt even eat bottlecaps any more and never even wants to smoke

 

Tell your friends to kick your ass whenever you smoke. I've done that for a couple buds.

Smoking cigarettes is the dumbest thing you can do. Im fine with them smokin weed at parties and stuff, but cigarettes is retarted.

Go crazy with the gum, and ya smoke a whole box till you get sick

i'm 17, and i said i'd been smoking for 4-5years. Cant you add?

and o well come this march i'll have the same trouble gettings fags as booze, since they are bumping the legal age up to 18

Long term usage of Marijuana effects are worse than long term effects of cigs. Cigs will give you cancer, and loss of usage of a few bodily organs, but weed will end up slowing your reaction time to practically nothing, high or not, as well as cause cancer in the same way cigs will with a greater amount of usage.

The up front perm. damage isnt as bad as cigs, but it catches up in the end.
