I never played WoW and i don't want to play it. I think it is to hard to play, all the items, powers, etc...i saw on TV previews and i had something like wow how this guy know what to do at that moment and that and that etc... Counter Strike FTW ! xD
If you play it intelligently then it won't rule your life. Just realize that 99% of the people playing it will level a lot faster. Personally for me, once I hit lv 60 I'll do a few raids and then quit.
i wouldn't recommend anyone to this game. its supier addictive. the game is great, but spending hours and hours just trying to get items, just isn't worth it. i had 5 lvl 60s which i sold to friend for 850 dollars, i have access to the acc, so who knows how long ill stay away for
Some people find it extremely addictive, like my friend who got it mid-summer and literally never left his room for 23 straight days. He had 2 or 3 level 60s in a 1 month period, and would have his mom send people who came to visit him away, never answered the phone, and had his food brought to him in his room, and his bathroom is connected to his room. His schedule was approximately 18 hours of WoW, 6 hours of sleep, repeat for 23 days (he went social after the, since school started back up). He still plays atleast 4-6 hours a day though, with full time college and part time work... I personally havnt logged in for over 3 weeks for more than an hour in total just do to personal stuff in life and everything... and the christmas season isnt exactly mellow around here for me... but for my birthday today (well yesterday, but I havnt gone to bed yet, so its still kind of like 'today') my mom has agreed to spend up to $2000 for myself to get a new computer, and I will probably play more (my current computer has problems running it on low settings lol)
No MMO is that great... I don't see how people can let themselves get addicted like that. It's crazy... I recently pulled myself away from MMOs, I am trying to swear'em off all together. Not online games, just MMO style of course.
