C'mon peeps keep on posting. I think I'm still cpu limited as the vga score is higher then cpu.

Ah, nice one. I think your 7600GT is factory overclocked, 1600mhz mem is the max most people can get with a 7600GT, for the core IDK. Hey are you still having that bios problem or is it fixed yet?

Congrats, you made first place so far. Mem clocks are wrong, they are 800mhz ddr and effectiv 1600mhz I think. As you can see you've got a high cpu score and lower vga. I've got no idea but my cpu just doesn't want to load the OS when at 3.2. I'll try to get more outta it when I get time. Whats your PCIE freq? As I said its both CPU and VGA dependant... a few hundred mhz can make a big difference..

Tried a run with cpu @2.96ghz and 621 (ATi overdrive doesnt want higher) and mem 750, I only get 108k, the same score as before, but then with 3.04ghz and lower vga clocks.

    PCI-e is at 120mhz

several interesting tricks you can do-
    CHANGE DRIVER SETTINGS...

test still runs at 10248768 with 4xAF, but a but of quality is lost...

I figure if nVidia could do it officially for it's fx series i can do it for the 7 series.

and yes it is very dependant on both.

and dev, you'er likely motherboard or RAM limited at this point, if you want to be certain, try increasing the cpu voltage to say 1.4V just temporarily.

heh, now everyone knows how I fealt like before 50 diferent BIOS revisions. My first BIOs didn't want to go past 350FSB, the second oen i tried was happy with 390ish or so before loosing stability and this last one looses stability around 415ish at which point I need to increase chipset voltage to get higher.

as it is right now, everything is running at stock or below stock volts(asside form the RAM, but it's micron D9, kits with that stuff go up to 2.4V for 2.4 official ratings so i figure 2.0V should be safe)

Is it safe to add up pci-e bus mhz?

I already knew about driver settings, tried running with 4xaa & 16x AF, 58k.... lol. Anyway, I tried editing some files and on 2.94, and 614/722, again lower then I tried just 5mins ago. and I get 110k.

I'll be experimenting more when I've got more time.... I will beat you :P

OCing the PCI-e bus is fine, don't OC the SATA bus though.

I dont think increasing the sata bus would help me to gain higher scores... lol.

I need more cpu mhz, but I cant really test stability on the 3D part, as im using beta drivers and my OS is really messed up due old nivida drivers and other stuff. Even when your pc is orthos 24/7 stable, doesn't mean its 100% stable. I know some guys who can run 24hrs prime and still with some game's their pc chrashes.. I'll do a clean install of windows soon.

Btw, I did a fsb test and I could do up to 450fsb stable(6*multi)... doesn't seems its like my motherboard. Ill might try giving it 1.35/4. Im just not in for all the hardware tweaking atm...

it might be your CPU in that case.
