Tony Hawk's Project 8

Anyone got it? I bought it last Sunday.
No where near as good as I thought.
Should be good for creating videos, though.
Your thoughts?

 

iv played the demo on the 360, its good but not as good as other new titles

 

Yeah you're right, Underground 1 was so much better.

 

I disagree, i think this is the best tony hawks yet.

 

imo all tony hawk games are pretty much the same
so this one is as good as any

 

Best tony hawk game. with the new nail the trick mode. And the new way of unlocking the world it's awesome. Great new tricks and some achievements. Very Good game.

 

I'm thinking about getting it. I bought ever single TH game since the PS1 and it would feel wrong to skip this one.

 

Yeah I havent played it yet but many of my friends were dissappointed when they played the game..

 

It has more skaters, and the turning is much more realistic.
You can also do pivots off street tricks.
There are some younger skaters in the game as well.

yea i love the demo as well. im getting it for christmas because i dont ahve the money for it myself >.<

I thing it is pretty cool. Nothing AMAZING about it. But i think it is good. Love the nail the trick mode, but it is kinda repetitive. Only so limited kinda.

I have seen some trailers on it, it seems like an okay game, however not to the stand of the last Tony Hawk's game. I enjoyed the last one much more, maybe because I am playing the same type of game. If I had played this one first I may have liked it more.

If I do get my Wii, I may still buy this game for the console, as it is still a good classic game.
