hey, im from australia right.. and im looking at getting games for my psp, also a new memory stick.. I found a 2gig memory stick, and its about the same price as a 1gig memory stick... (and yh, I converted the american to australian $$$) and my question is, do you know how american games for the ps2 wont work on the australian ps2's.. u need a chip for an american game to work on our ps2's.. I was wondering if its the same for a psp, can i buy a game from america for my psp and it'll work on my psp i brought from here in australia..?? so theres no different formats for the psp core.. and the same goes with the memory stick, would a memory stick from america work on my australian psp?? ~if someone could answer this, thatd be great
oh u srs..? do u have a link to a site that sais or explains about it? so, if the games are universal, does that mean the memory stick is too?
Yea PSP games are universal. All of them work on mine. I bought a Japanese game at Fry's and it worked xD.
aight thanks.. and I just found out also that they'll work, the memory disk and the game.. but if you want to do multiplayer.. the game would have to be from the same region.. so an australian made psp game wouldn't be able to do multiplayer with an american game.. this true..?
I havent play Multiplayer yet but you can use Xboxconnect. It reads the PSP as well and you can play with people around the world
Here you go, all umd's are universal UMD = Universal Media Disc http://www.us.playstation.com/support/psp/..._psp_gs_IN.html
thanks, so now I know I can order it.. so, that should mean that I would be able to do multiplayer with someone who has the same game who brought it from another region.. but this guy just told me before you cannot do it..?
