I just applied a downloaded boot screen to my computer. It's running fine, but the boot screen looks distorted. Like how most icons would look in safe mode. Should I try to update my graphics driver(I'm using an intel845G/GL graphics controller) or is it a problem from the computer?

I would just try to update your drivers. If nothing happens then it might be your computer

when i used to use dled bootscreens, i had the same problem. i just thought it was a bad quality image or something. i also noticed that the default one is the same quality too, just not as noticable o_O

pretty sure it's the default colour depth on boots screens, the one i have isn't great either.
