Ps3 cost double a 360, 300 dollars more just for a bit of difference between the consoles and the trouble that goes to find one at the moment. -300 = 6 years of xbox live so the free online doesn't Instantly make ps3 a better deal. -If it has most of the same games then why bother paying more? -If your parents haven't gotten a ps3 for you already and is hidden in their secret place (closet) then your probably not gonna get one. Since your still getting presents Christmas morning i don't think your old enough to skip school and camp outside of best buy by yourself anytime soon and chances your parents would skip their jobs to wait out in the freezing cold to go waste money. Your better off with a xbox or wii, Xbox has a great gallery of games, so does the wii ( not that many on wii but most of them are fun) While the ps3 has like 7 games and the only good one Resistance of man isn't worth the 600 price tag plus the 60 you need to dish out for the game.
i never really knew PSP was a dissapointing release compared to nintendo DS until.. recently, really. and i don't under estimate any companies, each have their fun moments, and i'm sure it will get better as the days/weeks/months pass, but how people are backing up the ps3 is kinda.. idiotic.. from what i hear from someone else on this forum.. the xbox uses hardware all specially for gaming. where as the ps3 doesn't. so you're paying less with the xbox, for what you need it for - gaming.. which makes absolute perfect sense.. ofcourse the stuff in the ps3 is good, but it also increases the price of the console itself. personally im going for wii for the different style of game play, no one but a few seem to realise it, its all "but ps3 has better gfx" etc.. and i guess these people just play games for graphics (which is important, but not all the time for gameplay, gameplay > graphics). also free online isn't always the best. free online means perhaps they won't look after their online service. xbox you have to pay, but then ofcourse they're gonna keep it very nice. the wii online is free also, but isnt released until 2007, so we'll have to wait and see on how that one goes. my friend has an xbox 360, and graphics are nice.. but its like just playing the same thing again. but online is always changes gaming experience, so i give them a high five for that.
i wasn't sure if you were quoting that for truth or laughing at it, assuming you're QFT'ing it.. launches shouldn't take months to like. you want people to go "wow im getting one" and people are, but they don't see how much better the other consoles are before getting one. the sony has been a dissapointment to me, and many others.. it shouldn't have to "catch up" to the other consoles as launch is a very important time, a time to impress people. so far the only one that impresses me is the Wii. the "tilt" controller with the ps3 isnt special at all, but something different (even though it was copied from nintendo wii anyay). Xbox live is a nice thing. i'm excited about online play with the wii, but i want to enjoy the games single player mode aswell as online. Online seems to be xbox 360's "special" feature. edit; mistake
Well you are extremely dumb^. The online service is only $50 a year and it includes features the ps3 will never see. Such as downloading movies, tv shows, and game demos! You must be an idiot to not buy a 360 for $50 just becuase the online cost money, I know you were speaking hyptothetically or at least I hope you were. But the online for xbox is 100x better then that of the ps3. With better connections, people, and gameplay the xbox live system owns the ps3. As opposed to games the 360 has more, and better games than the ps3, due to the fact that it has been out longer, yes, but the games are STILL better no matter what. So right now under the given circumstances, the xbox 360 is the leading and "King of the games". With great online play, awesome in game console features, and great games. It's the next generation All-Star. And now with this up and coming price cut, I'd expect over 9mil. consoles in total to be sold before the end of the year.
Hard to chose :/ Wii look's cool and funny to play, but the only games i like on it are Zelda, Dbz, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and that's all :s and by what i have seen Dbz isn't a verywell playable game for the wii. Xbox 360,look's cool because of his online gaming and some games realy look HOT. Ps3 i know nothing about that, the only thing i know about that is that it will cost too much :/ Edit : sorry wrong topic lol, i thought i was on the the wii vs 360 vs PS3 ^^
