360 its cheaper than the ps3, and is going to get cheaper Gears of war is out on it and so is Halo 3, its just IMO a better console for the money. The only reason I chose it as the ps3 is going to be ridiculously overpriced "/
@Kennedy, not going to quote cuz its getting too long. i have no idea if the interview is biased or not, sure he could be lying, but the truth is... it doesnt have as much potential as the wii so its fine. the first ps3 videos i watched were of that "warhawk?" video i think it was. flying spaceship shooting everything, turning around by tilting the controller.. this was even before i saw any wii videos at all, cuz i was a sony guy then until i saw the Wii. and i know the ps3 has good stuff, but apparently the hardware for it isnt even purely for gaming whereas the xbox is. "the PS3 is more of a 2.5 than an Xbox 360 being 1.5. Why? The 360 has more custom hardware for what's it supposed to do, gaming. Look at the CPU's. The 360 has a CUSTOM CPU (Xenon) made just for gaming. The CPU was designed to give game developers the power that they actually need, in an easy to use form. That's why you always hear devs and people saying the 360 is easier and more relaxing to code for. What does the PS3 have? It's Cell processesor (not new, not custom). You hear Sony boasting about it saying it has the best specs and whatnot (even in commercials) but guess what, it wasn't made for games." -Gotham people are saying the wii lacks in graphics, and sure it does lack in graphics. but the graphics aren't INSANELY bad, they just aren't parralel to the other consoles. ps3 has blu-ray, good games xbox 360 has excellent online play, and everyones favourite (but me) halo 3. wii has new controllers, different game play, great nintendo titles and soon to be online (no idea how that will turn out so yeah, with the ps3 you're actualy paying more money for what wasn't even made specifically for games, but hey, i dont care about price ive also heard the ps3 online isnt that good, i havent tried it myself but free online kinda means less maintenance. ie, more trouble. wii is also online and will probably be crap too. but the wii is also great multiplayer as is. obviously other consoles too, but it grabs the attention off of other people who dont even play games to give it a try. and i don't just sit here bashing the ps3, i mean yes i do, but ive heard bad things about em. as in people on my msn list, people on forums, reviews, etc. im sure even when i tried one out, id like it.. but i dont know if i'd buy one as of yet.
The Wii. If I do buy a console it'll be that. It has the Legend of Zelda and Super Smash Bros. Brawl (or at least it's coming out.) so that's enough of a reason right there. If I was rich I'd buy a PS3 as well, but I'm not. The Xbox 360 doesn't interest me in the slightest. I don't care for any of the games on it... and really it'd be a total waste of money for me.
Well some people do get furstrated because of that, but to me sony made a great thing bringing finally th e ultimate multimedia powerhouse, PC, internet, games, movies and all in HD, what more can you wish for lol. It seems that you're forgetting that it just launched. Yes you indeed do bash it, it's stupid. I don't bash other consoles. Well I have heard bad things about 360 and Wii, but I'm not going to cry about it. i didnt memorize wat gotham wrote, but i dont think he stated it was crap. it just isnt specifically for gaming, and to know you're spending more money for what you don't need to some people, is BS. i want a ps3. but compared to the others.. hmm, the others win imo. online isnt the best controllers dont have much potential good titles, but dont "really" have much interest in em, but great games the xbox360 online is freakin awesome. the wii's controllers are awesome. people say the remote is hard to use in FPS.. people havent used this stuff before, its completely new. after sometime people get the hang of it and are able to play it just as well as any other damn console/controller. i know when i picked up a controller, i thought.. wow, this is so ----ty compared to keyboard and mouse (FPS games).. after a couple of days or even hours, i was getting the hang of it. PS3 has good stuff.. ive said it before, and i said it again. it isnt like it isnt good stuff its just not specifically for gaming, and isnt that what we want? personally, i prefer a computer over a console for things such as web browsing, downloading, etc. i really see no use having a good computer, then using a mouse and keyboard on a ps3. then again, the prices for good computers can be much more than a ps3, but ofcourse, better aswell. DVD player in the ps3, well everyone likes DVD's, everyone has a dvd player in their computer/beside the tv. but unfortunately adds on to the price for people who are on a low budget. i dont judge consoles on price though. never. and lastly: i dont think nintendo are very mad about ps3 having the tilt aswell. obviously has less potential for them to really care.
ALL 3!!! im no fanboy cause all 3 systems have the really good games! if you can't afford all three then buy the one which has the games YOU WANT! its simple as that. And if you can't afford a ps3 at all wait for price drop which will be a while unfortunately or get a 360 or wii both are really good as well. And everyone has to admit all three consoles have their really good games. Ill name a few! PS3-Devil May Cry 4, God of War (possibly a 3 on ps3? hope so!), Final Fantasy, MGS4, gran turismo, ratchet and clank, jak and daxter, motorstorm, heavenly sword, resistance and more 60-Halo Series, Fable Series, Forza, gears of war, saints row, dead rising, and more i don't own one which is why i can't list them right off my head but i know there are more Wii- zelda, super smash, mario series, and more LOL
Lol, the only games worth getting on the xbox are fable / halo / gears of war. The other games you specified and indeed in general all have a better counterpart on the ps3.
not true their are loads more titles worth gettin a 360 for, anyway you say that most 360 games have better counterparts on the ps3 which is also a lie because most website like ign have gave games higher scores on the 360 because they have better online, so you can stop chatin all that rubbish
