Recordin Software?

    Does anyone know of a software that i can record from my stereo which is plugged upto my comp.
    I wanna record a tape off my stereo onto my comp then burn to a cd usin some sorta software or media player but cant find anythin to record with?

    If you are looking to record the music playing, it is against copyright laws to do so.

    Its a tape someone i know made that recorded it off his decks to a tape.Is that still against copyright laws? :(

    If he recorded the music himself then no.
    if he copied a musicians album to a tape then yes. You are allowed to make 1 copy of a CD, DVD or tape you own for back-up purposes, but are not allowed to give it to anyone, which sounds like what your friend did.
