Recently I really wanna get some resources from MegaUpload but it happens that someone keeps getting onto my IP and kept downloading things from there non-stop to the extend the download limit exceeded. Felt really pissed and is there some way I can prevent people using my IP which is meant for me alone? Even though the IP says 10.0.0.1 , but MegaUpload shows 2 different IPs with one having different port. Now I can't identify which IP is mine. Is there a way to prevent people from accessing my network?
The 10.0.0.1 is your networks IP not the IP the rest of the world see's. Who is your ISP, ISP's such as AOL and some others use proxies and share the IP's with multiple customers, which might be your case.
Yep, I can almost asure you that your ISP has you under a proxy. If your WAN IP actually is 10.0.0.1, then what I said is about 99% finite.
So is there anything I can do to have access to rapidshare or megaupload? MegaUpload seems possible but it's just that someone is leeching mine every second downloading gigs of stuff....
