uhh if you read the end of the articel... the price cut is already in effect... "Play.com is currently leading the way with its Gears of War premium bundle at an unprecedented £269.99, while online rival Amazon has an Xbox 360 PES 6 bundle on offer at £279.99." 2 of my friends got a 360 yesterday lol (one did cos the other did) n they trying to persuade me to.
No console has any true advantage over any other. You just have to wait for the 8th gen to come out to see who sold the most consoles. jezz-loueez
The PS3 Online service sucks (as in complicated, unlike xbox live) from what ive read from reviews. Seeing as the Xbox 360 and Ps3 graphical differences are slim, and as you said, most games are multi platform, and the Xbox is cheaper. Which would you choose? If the 360 got a price drop, hell I might buy it over the Wii
why are you people suprised that there was a price drop on something that came out a year ago? Its just a normal businees move to keep pace with their main competition which just released a new product.
Err, the price isn't dropping. All it is is speculating that it might because hardware cost are so low, MS is making a profit now. There won't be a price drop anytime soon.
Honestly, DS is right. Don't believe anything you read on the internet, unless it's from a reliable source. I, personally, don't read secondary sources for topics pertaining to this, because half the time what they say is bearly true, or has that effect anyway. The PS3 will not die, but Sony does have heavy competition it needs to watch more, for sure.
PS3 will bounce back in afew months. it will be the same as when the xbox came out, ps2 was already released, Sony should beat microsoft to Ps4!
Um...just because the 360 is getting a price cut dosn't mean the PS3 is going to die...it only means that I will be buying the PS3 and 360 for cheaper then I would have normally.
PS3 wont die.. Nor do I think it's very good. And I do believe Wii is currently selling 2x what ps3 is selling, granted - they have more units out. I just don't like much of anything to do with the PS3 personally. Xbox has it's good things, so does Wii.. PS3 has a nice controller maybe, and maybe its powerful.. But that doesn't mean much. Don't feel like writing anymore.
