    I have a suggestion.

There has been a fair few of complaints becuase of the credits being disabled in each forum, I know that you guys wanted to do this so that it could be vauled more but, it can make it harder for the people that want to get something but have no credits at all and are just starting in the GFX world..

So I came up with an idea that i thought would help dearly. I propose that you should allow credits to be earned within a surtain amount of posts.

For example a new person signs up and wants to get some FR tuts or whatever but he has no credits and no money to buy credits and isn't very good at Sig making(You don't become good over night), instead of taking some what 2-5 months of becoming better and better he could just work up some posts(Around 50-10 or so..) to gain about 0-50 credits.

It may encourage spam but thats only the people who are spam wh*r*s and that are just selfish, but on the good hand it can also ncourage a lot of activity in each section. :)

That is long  lol I got carried away. :P

    Thanks,
    .Stylz

thats not really the point, its that if 10 people sign up and buy alot of stuff and sell it, then alot more creds are still being introduced to the system. which is what we dont want.

Credits will not be disabled perminantly, just until people start charging $5 for 1k creds.

True, although in my opinion to have a great community the staff and members should work together to settle these type of things. Thats why I posted this too.

I'm not saying you should my friend..

I'm saying that people come here becuase there is some great tutoials up for sale but you can mostly only buy it with credits and right now its not very easy to buy. And if you don't know how to make sigs whatever it makes it much harder.

Says who? Are you a mod? No. Don't state things as a matter of fact if you don't know wtf your talking about.

Credits will be disabled until the moderators/admins of the site feel the credits per USD is at a reasonable amount (probably around 2 - 2.5M instead of the 3 - 3.5M its at).

As for the actual suggestion, I disagree with it. People here got better how? Free tutorials. Free learning tools, which is how they should have always been in the first place. They can learn, and they can sell, and they can be every bit as successful as AM Eccentric, or any other '---' (and I use that term very loosely as there isn't a single '---' signature maker imo).

Are the mods required to post updates to its members? No, you have absolutely no idea other then what EVERYONE else is capable of reading. If you wanna state information from a topic then post a link to the topic, don't be like, 'Credits will not be disabled perminantly, just until people start charging $5 for 1k creds.' where it makes it sound like you know what your talking about.

Credits still do currently go for 200:1 in most cases, though some people get greedy and wanna buy 225:1 or 250:1. Either way, that topic also said the credits would be open again in 1 month, and has that happened yet? The should have been your first clue... here's your sign...

For future reference, 200:1 would be the bare minimum we would let credits come back at, most of the mods would prefer a 150:1 ratio, and its kind of an unspoken agreement.

Oh, and here is another post staying the same as I said above from an administrator:

Creds are going for 250:1 from what I've seen.

That topic said at least 1 month.

I'm trying to help out, and if you don't post updates, don't get mad at me for stating something that was the previous release by mods. Honestly, I don't like trying to help out, which is what most senior members do, and to be told off because the information I gave was outdated, but no public statement to update it was made.

Wouldn't matter if you had said it, as long as you hadn't stated it in a 'this is how it is' attitude rather than posting, 'this is what the mods initially proposed' and linking to the topic.

Also, my initial post was edited to show what Logicaly said on the subject in another topic.
