Pokemon Silver Not Saving Anymore

    i feel like everyone will know about this, but i can't get pokemon silver to save for longer than like 10 minutes anymore. i've tried two cartridges and two gameboys, and none of the combinations work.

    what do i do?

    how old are you? Anyway, maybe it is just old...it has been what, 6 years since it was released.

    hes right it is kinda old so it might just b the game itself just go buy a new one or somethin

    Check for dust old game so look for dust :P

    Or you can download an emulator and played the rom for "24 hours" since you have the original thing.

    how about using Virtualboy Advance. Its pretty good. Ever heard of it?

    He can keep it as long as he wants because he owns the game if he didnt he could keep the rom for 48 hours.

    pop open the cartridge and swap the battery.

    what are you ----ing 50 years old?

    silver rocked mate. sorry to hear that. my gold version did the same thing to me..

    Hahaha i just dug up my old gameboy games.

    Pokemon red and blue both work still ;)

    maybe you need a new game cartridge? it could just be old, or be really dusty. You can always call the Nintendo Power customer care/help and information people

    That 24 hour thing is a lie >_>

    But yeah, its because your game save battery died. This usually happens in older games for the SNES and NES, but I guess its happening to GBC games too.

    Google how to do it, I have no idea.
