Why is America so madly cheap :/ I paid €500 for a Ps2, xbox was €600. € > $ and still no one complained about the price here though :/
if u read the reviews of the ps3 its a really cumbersome console to use and it requires an update right out of the box to log online... i think sony went the total wrong way with the ps3 where as the 360 and wii went in the right direction... nintendo finally did something right
Everyone know how GC failed? PS3 might be doin same. but Sony will still make a profit probly... They just gotta put all future ps3's on ebay

The PS3 will succeed for various reasons. The sheer power being one, and also the blue-ray capabilty. Buying a PS3 is alot cheaper than a stand alone player. HDDVD will flop. Blue Ray will win. So PS3 wins. But, living in the UK... I don't get the PS3 till march. The Wii comes out soon though! Getting it!

600 is a little to much, i wish the would lower the prices on games though..$60 a game is just to much for the average person also parents arent going to be able to find ps3s or wiis in time for xmas and there just going to settle with 360s
It's harder than I anticipated to get a Wii... I'm in Rhode Island, smallest state - ya know?, the island that isn't actually an island? Well anyway, I called at 9:30 and they were all sold out. Another week to wait. I'm not allowed to open it untill xmas - unless my parents break and just let me but doubt it - so still waiting.... 31 days....
I don't know, just searched stuff. I don't see why rushing out to get a PS3 is so important, unless you would be willing to sell it on eBay. I think waiting a while until you know when the PS3 will be in stock is the thing to do.
the reason for ps3's not selling alot, is because there were only about 250k availiable on the first 2 days or so, and the WII had about 450. I read that on the nintendo thingy... in like 2 weeks, ps3 will have 2x more sells than wii. Ps2 were easier to make, thats why they had so many on the first day
